1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Verse Arts website (versearts.co.uk) and the performing arts services provided by Verse Arts, operated by Katie Healy. By using our website or enrolling in lessons, you agree to these terms.
2. Enrolment and Booking
Places in Verse Arts classes and lessons are offered subject to availability. Enrolment is confirmed once payment has been received. By enrolling, you agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of yourself or your child.
Verse Arts reserves the right to decline enrolment at its discretion.
3. Fees and Payment
All fees are as stated in the school portal or as communicated directly by Verse Arts. Fees are payable per term, in advance, before the first lesson of each term, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. By making a payment, you authorise the transaction and confirm you are the authorised account holder.
Fees for individual online and private lessons must be paid upfront to secure the session.
Verse Arts reserves the right to amend fees from time to time, with reasonable notice given in advance of any change.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Term fees are non-refundable once the term has commenced, except in exceptional circumstances at the discretion of Verse Arts. Where a lesson is cancelled by Verse Arts (e.g. due to teacher illness or school closure), a credit or make-up lesson will be offered where possible.
For online and private sessions, cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice are non-refundable. Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice may receive a credit at Verse Arts' discretion.
If you wish to withdraw your child from lessons mid-term, please notify us as soon as possible. Refunds for unused lessons in exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
5. Attendance
We ask that students attend lessons regularly and punctually. Where a student is unable to attend, please notify us as early as possible. Fees are not refunded for missed lessons unless the absence is due to significant medical circumstances.
6. Code of Conduct
Verse Arts expects all students and parents to treat teachers, staff, and other students with courtesy and respect. We reserve the right to exclude any student or parent whose behaviour is disruptive, disrespectful, or in breach of any applicable school or venue policy.
In the event of exclusion, fees already paid are non-refundable.
7. Photography and Media
Verse Arts may occasionally take photographs or video at events, performances, or classes for promotional purposes. Consent for photography will be requested separately during enrolment. Where consent is not given, we will not photograph or film your child.
8. Safeguarding
The safety and wellbeing of all students is our highest priority. All Verse Arts teachers hold current DBS checks. We operate in line with the safeguarding policies of our partner schools and venues. Any safeguarding concerns should be reported to Katie at verseartspa@gmail.com.
9. Medical Information
You must inform Verse Arts of any medical conditions, allergies, or additional needs that may affect a student's participation in lessons. This information will be held in confidence and used only to ensure the student's safety and wellbeing.
10. Website Use

11. Limitation of Liability
Verse Arts is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from participation in lessons, except where caused by our negligence. Participation in performing arts activities involves physical movement, and students participate at their own risk, in line with the reasonable guidance of their teacher.
12. Changes to These Terms
Verse Arts may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be published on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
